Main page layout changes
Edit
Hello,
What's the rationale behind your recent edits to the Freeciv Main Page?
In my browser at least, the project news now appears in a separate, too-narrow-to-read column to the right, whereas before it was in the same column as the other content, and was legible.
Do you mind if I put it back the way it was?

Thanks for your reply.
I don't see a 300px ad pushing content down regardless of the old or new layout.
- There's a wide, short (approximately 730x92) ad right at the top of the page, which is there in either layout.
- There's a more square (approx 300x250) ad to the right of "What is Freeciv?". Again, this doesn't push content down in either layout for me; in the old layout, there's a column especially for it.
- (Admittedly, on repeated refresh just now I got a 300x600 "Need for Speed" ad there, which did push stuff down. But I think in your layout it would still have pushed the news down.)
So I've put the layout back how it was.

Misleading DOWNLOAD / PLAY NOW ads
Edit
By the way: there's a very annoying kind of ad that I've seen occupying that second spot which consists of just words like "DOWNLOAD" and "PLAY NOW" with few or no obvious markings to indicate what it is you're downloading or even that it's an ad.
I appreciate that Wikia is ad-supported, but these particular ads are actively misleading -- it's very easy to get the impression that these are download links for Freeciv, especially as they're embedded right in our content. (I don't know what you do get if you click on them.)
To whom does one complain about specific ads?
