AHA! im a CANADIAN, living in alberta, and i found out about freeciv by searching the web when i was 10 (6 years ago).. i was looking for downloadable games on some website, searching strategy.. looking for something small for dial-up. after i found freeciv 1.14.6 or something, i downloaded it, i started the server, and started pressing buttons. after a while the game started and i was like.. whoa.. what do i do now. so i looked around, and started experimenting. now after 50000 games, whenever i go on the computer, my default position for my fingers on any keyboard, i have my fingers on the letters: G, R, and S.. for go, build road, and sentry.

i stopped playing freeciv early 2009, late 2008, after we got a new computer and the widescreen monitor was wide and awkward to use with freeciv. i started playing again after i was bored and found a old file on the computer (somewhere along the road freeciv tagged along with my files) anyways, thats my story, im a modest player, i hate empires with more than 20 cities, it just seems like a routine after awhile. i also hate huge maps that make micromangaging a need. i stopped using celebration as a mean to play, and i stopped racing to trade and republic to win the game, and i just play the way the game was meant to be played. so i would call myself 50% pro.. not totatlly kick your *** kinda player, but not a total newfie (canadian mock for somebody from newfoundland). i also perfer to play with humans, rather than fighting them.

anyways, comment or whatever on my talk page, we can play online, perfered small maps (dial up) with a max of 4-10 cities. just give me some times on when your avaiable and we'll get a game shorted =D
