I have allied with an enemy to a desired enemy. I'm playing AI opponents. How the heck do I get a war started? Do I HAVE to have a revolution? I've operating a communist government. -- 64.28.52.70 2007-10-09.

I don't know but if it says that then you will have to, just try it. I can't remmeber what the requirements for revolution because of war is. I know you mostly have to start revolution if you are in Rebpublic. Emj 07:29, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Declaring War

Press the F3 key at the top of your keyboard, or click on the Reports.Players menu. Select the user you wish to declare war upon. Click on the Player.Cancel Treaty menu option. You might have to do this more than once in order to get to a state of war.

Note that you must first have "contact" with a player before you can declare war upon them or conduct diplomacy. Contact basically means that you have one of your units near one of theirs or one of their cities, or vice-versa. You will lose contact after 16 turns unless you have an embassy with the player in question.

I hope this helps!
