Forum:Somebody help os x 10.5.5

I am trying to run the game on Mac OS X 10.5.5. I've read previous posts asking for help and have installed version 2.1.6, as well as X11. The application comes open and then "quits unexpectedly". On relaunch the same exact thing happens time and time again. Somebody please respond.
