Forum:Site layout

I'd like to make this site more metadata-driven, categorizing all articles in a few easy to handle categories and then making navigation centered on these categories. Right now, navigation depends completely on navbars which is increasingly clunky as the site continues to grow. The point is, that this wiki contains quite a few obscure coding and design documents that are very diffucult to locate in the current layout. Improving their accessability will also improve the quality of this wiki, since all readers are editors in a wiki!
Proposed navigation categories are (WIP):
- Category:Coding (coding guides, examples, tutorials)
- Category:Design (game design documents, drafts)
- Category:Contents (ruleset editing, scenario creation)
- Category:Art (graphics and music)
- Category:Gameplay (gameplay tutorials, howtos)
- Category:Documentation (FAQs, in-depth manuals, terminology)
There may be other more specialized categories that partly overlaps these, for example Category:AI. However this is not a problem.
