Good evening,
I'm dissappointed because of the German FreeCiv site.
The last update on this site was weeks ago, so I think my German mates don't care about this German FreeCiv.
I did their work as well as I can, and I was even so nice to translate the News in German, but now it is no more up to date.
Is it difficult to copy news from English Wikipedia to the German one? Well, I can make it myself and translate it, but the download page I can't change.
What does the other maintainers and fans think about this problem?
please write back

It's inevitable that the localized wikis get outdated. Most wiki translators work intensively in periods with very low activity in between. These wikis need people like you who give a helping hand every now and then! The more editors there are the more up to date the wiki will be.
Now, it's bad that the admins of the German wiki haven't updated the download page for the new release. So since they're not doing this, I'll unprotect the page for now so that you or anyone can edit it and keep it current.
A big thanks for your interest and work so far! --Hima 01:12, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Okay, thanks for your statement.
I've got a one more question question.
How is it possible to work on the german FreeCiv site? Up to now I could only update and translate the news. I want to edit our German site to update also the rest of it.

I don't quite understand the question? You can edit virtually any page in a wiki. If you're not familiar with working on a wiki, please read this tutorial. --Hima 02:49, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
