From Freeciv

On a Mac, how do I start freeciv from terminal? I dug around in the Freeciv.app folder and found civclient, but it keeps complaining about not having a default tileset, and it doesn't like the path I've given to --tiles.

Not a mac question I guess: Sometimes what I really want to do is tell my workers that I want every square in some area irrigated. I get the impression from Help->Controls that maybe I can do something like that with area selection? But I'm not clear on how to say "irrigate this box I've drawn". It is kind of tiresome to tell workers each turn where I want the next bit of irrigation or road or whatever.
