I was trying to compile the "Stable Version 2.1.10 released on 26th November 2009" and eventually got this error on the make:
"chatline.c: In function ‘inputline_return_callback’: chatline.c:92: error: too few arguments to function ‘real_append_output_window’ chatline.c: In function ‘real_append_output_window’: chatline.c:151: warning: passing argument 2 of ‘add_notify_window’ makes pointer from integer without a cast chatline.c:151: error: too many arguments to function ‘add_notify_window’"
I am not all that good at this stuff, so it is probably something I am doing wrong, does that error look familiar to anyone? (unsigned post)
None of the chatline.c files in my copy of 2.1.10 seem to match those line numbers. The default for most computers is to compile freeciv-2.1.10/client/gui-gtk-2.0/chatline.c, but that file never seems to call 'add_notify_window'. There is a call to 'add_notify_window' in freeciv-2.1.10/client/gui-sdl/chatline.c, but only at line 429. I cannot find a chatline.c that calls 'add_notify_window' near line 151. You might want to check that you have the correct chatline.c. --Kernigh 03:15, January 1, 2010 (UTC)
