Talk:Tennis Designedit this page

Everyone knows the 4x Design, which is quite popular. It is however also a little simplistic. 'Exlore, expand, exploit, exterminate' are catchy terms, but strictly following that design makes for games that play like command & conquer (where the 4x design also applies) and overpowered small-pox. Maybe the 4x design, itself, is restricting to the intelligence of the AI.

To make things more complicated (ie: more specified) the 10-s (tennis) design was thought up. It is not a known design for games.

This idea is likely to be rejected (warranting the placing in old alternate ideas), because of both it's obscurity and it's complexity.

It is however, so I think, more flexible, and more strategic then it's popular counterpart, and should allow for smarter AI behaviour (though it would mean radically altering the AI code). --Albatrossix 08:11, 25 May 2005 (PDT)
